Hello,
I've been using windows 7 on my computer since RC and barely had a problem. By then I had built it especially to play Mass Effect 1 which was working perfectly.
When Mass Effect 3 came out, I tried to play Mass Effect 1 and that's when the BSOD started. They would first happen only in Mass Effect 1 (3 was working great) and then it started happening randomly, while idle, while on Google chrome, typing a text...
A few days ago, I wanted to start clean so I did a new install of windows seven (MSDNA version, x64).
I had a BSOD very early. First I thought tat was because the computer wasn't connected to the Internet and couldn't make any update. I did all the updates and kept having them.
I'm vastly depressed by it because I really need it to be working. I'm the president of a cinema club and I need to be able to use Adobe CS5.5 and be able to export stuff without it crashing (it crashes systematically when exporting a sequence).
I did a memtest and found no erros in 10 hours and 10 passes and then the computer crashed.
Here is a screen from bluescreen viewer.
The specs :
X4 955 BE (I bought a new fan for it but haven't installed it yet because computer not stable)
GTX560 TI (newly installed, had 4870 before and installed this one right before formatting, I don't think the issue comes from it as I was having the same kind of BSODs before formatting).
4 Go DDR3
