No, that is not any problem, if the RAM is compatible with the board.

I will run startup repair, and it says that there was no OS detected on disk.
should I be extremely worried? and should i just continue to run startup repair as it says it may take a few tries?

If no OS is detected, better you try a clean reinstall.

now it doesn't even recognize the hard drive.
what should i do?
still try the clean install?

Boot into the BIOS. See if the HDD is recognized there or not.

If recognized, try the clean install.

If not, apply the HDD in another SATA port on the motherboard. Is it still the same? Let us know.

ok so i did some searching around on the internet and found that this problem could be caused by just a missing or unreliable connection to the motherboard, so i unplugged everything and then plugged it all back in and that solved my problem. now as i have finally reached the final windows page (idk wat it is called, mayb homescreen?) the only problem i have is that now there is another drive called Acronis Svc F that is 5.65 gb. wat is this drive here from? and it is almost completely full as well. could i get rid of it or some how combine it with the normal Local Disk C

Sorry for almost a year of no replies, but I have been busy with the family, work and school. I thank you Arc for sticking with me and solving all of my problems so far, however I am afraid that I am not out of the water yet. My computer is again getting the BSOD after start-up. Attached are the dump files, at this point I am looking into Ubuntu for a more stable OS, and was wondering what your opinion on that would be? Any reply would be greatly appreciated, thank you again.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

• Double click to open it.
• Click this button only:
• 
• If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Then observe how it runs. I see some other failing modules there, but may be it is SPTD causing all those failures. Any right decision about those cannot be taken with SPTD present in the system.

Also upload the list of all the third party drivers Using NirSoft DriverView :

• Download and execute Driverview
• View > Hide Microsoft Drivers
• Edit > Select all
• File > Save Selected Items
• In the Save dialog, Set the path to desktop, Put "Driverview" in the name field, and save.
• Zip the .txt file and upload it.
