I just now started getting BSOD's every time I run uTorrent. I was having issues with an uninstall of BlueSoleil earlier, specifically with the internet adapter system tray icon always being wrong. However, I just noticed that at the same time I started getting BSOD with uTorrent (which I hadn't run in a couple weeks), the system tray icon is now correct.
For the system tray icon issues with BlueSoleil, I tried these instructions and it didn't fix anything. I was still unable to get the wifi filter driver to stop even after replacing it.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 32bit
My hardware originally came with Windows Vista, but I uninstalled that and installed Windows 7 which I obtained from MSDNAA.
My computer was purchased Fall 2009, and Windows 7 was installed as soon as I got the computer.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

I tried the instructions for ensuring that minidump is enabled and it did not make one for me. I even changed it to C:\System\Minidump and it didn't make it for me. I don't have a Minidump folder or file in either the system root directory or in C:\System\.

Did you type in Search? c:\windows\minidump

FYI,

For dumps to be produced. . .
▪ Page file must be on OS drive
▪ Page file base allocation size must be > than installed physical RAM
▪ Windows Error Reporting (WER) system service should be set to MANUAL
▪ Set page file to system managed, OS drive

Set System Crash/ Recovery Settings to "Kernel Memory Dump" - this will produce. . .
--> a Full Kernel Memory Dump - c:\windows\memory.dmp
--> a Mini Kernel dump c:\windows\minidump

The Full Kernel is overwritten each BSOD; a new mini kernel dump is created w/ different name for each BSOD

To check your system's "Recoveros" (Recovery) and Page File settings via Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), run the following -

HTML output - WMI - "Recoveros" and Page File Settings (HTML)
Text file output - WMI - "Recoveros" and Page File Settings (TEXT)

My computer was not set up to allow for any page creation. As soon as I set it to create them and tell it to configure the size itself (2980 GB, with 2.90 GB usable RAM), I can no longer recreate my BSOD. I guess I'll start a new thread if that ever happens.
Thanks!

Hello ads264.

I analyze your .dmp files and your BSOD.

Problem can be with NETIO.SYS driver.

If you have to A/V software or two firewalls software delete both and try with MSE.
Update your Network/wireless card and Update Windows through Windows Update.
There is one small update to fix it.

You disable QoS bandwidth limit using one small .reg file in my attachment.

Try with this only and post your results here.

I made sure that my network adapters were up-to-date through the device manager and they all are.
My windows is up-to-date.
I looked at my QoS bandwidth limit and it is set to 0, so no need to use the .reg file.

More BSOD

I have experienced more BSOD with uTorrent. Attached is the up-to-date information regarding these issues.
Also, I tried to download new wireless and ethernet network adapter drivers from lenovo and for some reason the files were not actually accessible online.
Thanks for your help!

I just switched and have not experienced any BSOD as of yet. I will post again if they come back. Thanks for all your help!
What is it about AVG that causes them as compared to MSE?

AVG uses more system resources than MSE. MSE is one of the lightest, if not the lightest, antivirus programs available; plus it is the most stable because it was developed by Microsoft to work with their Windows systems.

BSOD returned when using uTorrent

After so long without one, I just had it happen again, even with MSE installed. Attached is the necessary info.

Crash was network related. I wonder about
Code:
vpnagent.exe	c:\program files\cisco\cisco anyconnect secure mobility client\vpnagent.exe	1464	10	200	1380	6/25/2012 5:32 PM	3.0.4235.0	463.95 KB (475,088 bytes)	9/9/2011 12:08 PM
And
Code:
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows	ROOT\NET\0000	This device is disabled.
possibly causing conflicts. You may want to turn off the Cisco startup item and any Cisco services in msconfig: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html. At least disable them when you are not using the adapter.
