Hello,

I originally thought I had fixed my crashing problems with some new bios updates but apparently that hasn't eliminated it at all.

Lately it's been crashing a bit more. I tried doing a Disk Cleanup as well as an error check. That didn't seem to remedy anything. I've attached a zip folder with all the recent crash results and such.

I've run Memtest86+ before but had gotten 8 passes. This was with all 4x8gb memory sticks still installed. I have not tried to run the test with individual sticks.

Please help if possible. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are 4 PCIe ports on your motherboard. Apply the graphics card to any other port.

See how it goes. let us know.

Also, (after applying the card in another port) stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us. And ley us know if you experience any artifacts or crashes during the test.

Thanks for the reply Arc!! Been busy so it's taken me awhile to be able to attempt this.

I ran the test before I swapped the PCI-E slot on my card just to see what I could expect. I did not notice any artifacting so that was a good sign. Actually, right before I was attempting this, I was in a game of Smite when it randomly froze up. No BSOD...just the screen locked up and there was an obnoxious noise repeating...BRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Anywho, I moved the card to a different slot and ran the test again. Seemed to be fine on both account.

I wasn't sure how long I was supposed to run the test so I ran it for a minute and a half the first time and about 2 minutes the 2nd time. I've attached bother images. Let me know what you think

And again, thank you for the response and your help in this matter.

If the temps are not too high (say more than 80ºC), you should run the test for say 10 minutes.

But if teh things hanged after swapping the PCIe slot, see how it goes. If the BSODs continue to occur again, continue with troubleshooting.

well. I had been doing a few Bios updates recently. Things were actually running VERY stable until today when i decided to play Smite.

It's crashed twice since I've attempted to play. I think a 3rd party voice program connected to the game might be causing the issue. I will mess around with that some more. Thanks again for your quick response Arc.

I think a 3rd party voice program connected to the game might be causing the issue.
The possibility is always there. Some games are not very properly coded.

As you have the doubt, ask about it to the game developer. They should have a forum on their games. Ask for any possible fix (any custom patch or custom settings) that will work for your system.

Nevermind. It wasn't just the software. It's gotta be a hardware problem. I was playing League of Legends when it happened again.

It's just so awkward because I'll have long runs of good usage with no crashes and then out of nowhere...multiple screen lock-ups forcing me to hit the reset button.

same 3 in my dump viewer...noskrt, hal.dll and something else..not even sure if i'm spelling them correctly...

Updated my PC specs per your request.

Bios Voltage:
3.3V - 3.408V
5V - 5.200V
12V - 12.384V

I've also done a clean install of the NVIDIA drivers per that link you sent. Thank you for that. It'll be hard for me to recreate a crash just by playing Smite or League of Legends. As previously stated, I go for days/hours on end with no issues and then randomly get crashes back to back out of nowhere.

Yep another way of getting that info is my little ditty
Using HW Info
PART A:
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts are doing see my pic.
The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel
FOR OTHER COMPONENTS
PART B:
Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in and then click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. See pic for example.

Use part A: and send the pic the section you are looking for again is the one that gives the rail volts and it can be recognized by the VBATT or similar entry.

Sorry I haven't got the pic of my Ivy Bridge on this machine yet the section is called Nuvoton when the board is an Asus one and a another common one is ITE this is of course my laptop but it gives you some idea of what it will look like.
