Hey, so I've got quite a few of blue screens being caused by ntoskrnl.exe and ntfs.sys. But also some new guys have popped up like sdyboost.sys and partmgr.sys.

I have run memory diagnostics with memtest86 and also a chkdsk test with no problems reported. No issues with overheating, ran a game for about 30 to 45 minutes and looked at temps, GPU was running around 59 C and CPUs were running at 52C I have updated all drivers that needed to be updated... I'm at the end of my rope with this thing.

Alright specs:
HP Pavilion DV6 3160us
AMD Phenom II N950 Quad Core Processor 2.10 ghz
4 GB RAM
1 GB ATI Radeon Mobility 5650 GPU
64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium

Update: I have downloaded the HDD diagnostics test from the manufacturer and it came up with no problems.

I like most people do not have the install cd. In my case I did not even get a repair cd (refurb, last time I do that!) Are there other options to doing something like this without a CD?

Thanks for joining the discussion yowanvista!
