Hi everyone, I just registered after browsing for a solution to my problem, so this is my last resort before finding someone more experienced to deal with this in person.

After I log in I have about 15 seconds before my monitor starts to flicker and freeze, followed by the BSOD and system restart. I have tried re-installing drivers, switching to older drivers, and re-installing windows 7. All of these were clean installs.

My computer was having BSOD's previously at a much slower rate and only when processing something such as loading nvidia's webpage to download drivers. During these BSOD's a message in the bottom right of the monitor would appear stating the driver was not working and had recovered successfully, subsequently my computer would crash and auto restart.

Another thing worth mentioning is that dxdiag incorrectly displays my graphics card as Geforce 9800 when i'm using Geforce GTX 480. Any help would be immensely appreciated, i've spent my entire weekend trying to get my baby working but she just won't take. Here's what I'm running for equipment on it:
