Solved BSOD should I be really worried?

I was drawing on my tablet last night and all of a sudden my computer just went blue and shut off. That's never happened before but sometimes it has overheated but it doesn't turn blue.

About a week ago my firefox start page kept taking me to a weird website so I bought Spy Hunter4. Turns out I had caught some kind of malware but I ran a scan and cleaned everything but that's the only thing I can think of that's changed in the recent past.

I ran a scan after my laptop restarted anyway and it came up clean so I don't think it's a virus.

I'm kind of freaking out because when I googled it everyone made it seem like the end of the world. I just want to know what I can do do make sure it doesn't happen again.
I'm not good with computers but I followed all the instructions (the ones I understood) If there's anything else I need to do just tell me how and I'll try my best <3

PS- Thought I'de mention that I had a couple of projects open on my drawing app and a couple of tabs on firefox (mostly social media ,YouTube and was I was also listening to music.) I've done all this before and have never had a problem. Don't know if that helps....

Reduce items at start-up. No software except anti-virus is required plus doing this improves the time for logging into windows:

• How to Change, Add, or Remove Startup Programs in Windows 7

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

• Click on the rb:
• Type CMD on Search
• Left click and Run as Administrator
• Type SFC /scannow

Thank you for the tutorial links.
I followed the instructions for both,after I restarted I couldn't tell if I logged in quicker but before the log in screen came up my screen stayed black for quite a while...I also got this battery alert (601- I think) before that happened...sorry I'm not sure if that's relevant to this problem or not.
The second scan thing said 'Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations' which sounds like a good thing.

I used my laptop for about an hour last night an it seemed okay but I didn't really do anything on it.
