Solved BSOD since getting new videocard

What is the ambient temperature there? 15 sounds too low and could be an erroneous reading.

I've been told i should keep the real temp settings as they were, but regardless, I am now running 20 degrees colder than i was before.

I agree that is an excellent improvement.

I was just mentioning the temperatures may not be correct. I think that is the case with any temperature software, though. Depends on where it gets the information and how the system is configured for the sensor data. It typically at least gives a reasonable estimate of what the temperatures are doing for troubleshooting.

Good news the new components are installed.

Let us know if you have any more crashes or if it is stable now.

The CPU core temp sensors are setup and customized for high end readings, Intel uses these mainly for over temp control. The idle temps are always suspect but generally considered to be 'close'.
writhziden is right, you must always consider ambient temps when reading system temps.
I've gotten 19°C idle temps with a slightly lower ambient temp.
