All was working fine. I downloaded and installed the latest updates. Restarted, now have bsod. It scrolls too fast for me to read it. I tried starting in safe mode and try to do a restore, but the only options given is launch startup repair or start windows normally. I try the start up repair option, says it can't fix it, then the laptop shuts off. Literally, I was listening to some you tube videos through the stereo, installed the updates, shut down youtube/explorer, rebooted and now this is happening. It is a Dell Latitude e5570 win7 pro 64.

Hi phoenixmark,

See here => Two identical BSODs on two boxes that prevent even reaching Safe Mode .

I hope this helps!

I saw that. It was posted after I opened a thread on the subject. It was explained better than I did in mine. Does anyone know the cause of this? My other 3 computers, all updated with the same updates do not have this problem. Should I disable windows update until a solution is found?
