Hi nfairbank.

We need more info there to suggest you about the issue.
Upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

That is why you were suggested to zip it. Your upload is too tough to read. To generate a text, the way is File > Export. But the native .nfo format is desired.

Well, got it. The msinfo32 file was very important there, because it will tel us the mode of the failing driver iastora.sys. And, here it is RAID.
ITEM | VALUE
Name | Intel(R) C600+/C220+ series chipset SATA RAID Controller
Driver | c:\windows\system32\drivers\ iastora.sys
Code:
Model : Intel Raid 1 Volume SCSI Disk Device
The best way to deal with iaStor issue is to not use it. But as it is RAID, the only feasible way to not use iaStor is to not use RAID. You need to boot into the BIOS, disable RAID, disable any sort of Intel Rapid Storage/Intel Smart Response option there, set the storage controller mode to AHIC.

Then, when you will exit BIOS, Windows will refuse to boot. Because windows can boot only from the storage controller mode on which it was originally installed. And you need to perform a clean reinstall.

So the plan should be:

  1. Backup the data.
  2. Disable RAID, enable AHCI.
  3. Perform a clean reinstall.
This is the only way to keep the computer away from this particular BSOD. Any other step/action will not be able to give it a long term sanity.
