BSOD stop 0x00000101 and Memory_Management 0x0000001A--recurring

Hi, I've been getting BSOD repeatedly for the last month and it's getting progressively worse. I play Everquest 2 and can't seem to keep the client up for more than 10 mins at a time, but I'll have BSODs even without running the game.

I ran AVG pc tune-up and have updated all drivers, re-installing the Nvidia drivers.

I ran the SF diagnostic tool and attached the zip. Please let me know if you can figure out what's going on here.

Let me start you off with a memory test . Link on how to get memtest86+ on an USB below and use

If your test comes out with any errors stop the test and run a test on each memory Stick inside each dim slot one at a time .

   Note

the tool will run on an x64 bit OS. You're booting off it not installing the tool

Thank you for the quick reply. I ran Memtest about 2 weeks ago thinking that could be the issue, but it came back with no errors after running for several hours. Even so, I replaced the memory and put the new memory in the two slots I had not previously used. I'll run it again, but have a feeling that may already be eliminated.

Okay, I've got them both uninstalled and Microsoft Security Essentials is running. Just had another client crash. Any other ideas?

Update the dmp files by uploading them using GRAB ALL . How's the memory test going ? Are you running dual channel kits

Here is the latest grab all. My pc didn't like my ancient usb flash drive so I couldn't get that memtest version to load. Is there another one you'd want me to try?

Here is the ISO file version

Burn the ISO to a cd .

http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/memtest86+-4.20.iso.zip

Unzip the file and use any cd burning software you have to burn the ISO file . You can't just copy and paste the file .

If you have another windows 7 PC right click on the ISO and choose burn image to disc .

Okay, I have the mem test running. How do you set up dual channel test in this one?

You can't if you get any errors you will have to test each memory stick one at a time on every slot . If you have dual channel sticks and still under warranty RMA both of the memory sticks for that kit . If you don't have warranty on the memory stick(s) you would have to purchase new memory kit for dual channel .

Okay, gotcha. It's been running for 45 mins and 1.4 passes with no errors. I got this ram a couple weeks ago because I thought the old ram (still fairly new tho) might be the issue even tho mem test showed no errors. And these two sticks are in the two dimms I wasn't using with the old two. Doesn't seem like it's the ram itself.

You want to run it for at least 8 passes . It will take a while

Okay, so I ran it overnight and there were 40 errors thru 5 passes. So now I'm running each stick in each slot? Considering this is my second set of memory it's most likely that its the motherboard?

Also instead of running hours of memtests on each slot couldn't I just try each stick in each slot and see if the game crashes?

It is a RAM, a bad RAM.

But if you have got a result like that:

RAM2| Error |Good

It is a motherboard issue. The particular slot is bad.

As an update. One thing I finally tried was resetting the bios to default settings (and thereby turning off any over-clocking). Then someone pointed me to the Event Viewer and system events. There were processor core: corrected machine check: internal parity errors in there. I googled that and someone with my board, ASRock Z77 Extreme had same problem and ended up fixing it just by tuning oc down to 4.2 from 4.4.

I've been running with no over-clocking for 45 mins now and everything appears perfectly stable. So, hopefully it turns out to be that easy. Will report back if not.
