Hey, I was installing a windows update, backing up files, playing games and a few other things when I got the BSOD. How do I upload the .dmp file? Isn't that what is needed dot see what happened?

Thanks for the files. Unfortunately no dump file is included. Read this turotial and upload any dump files. Read the last part of the first post and make sure your computer is set for mini dumps. Also, if you are running a cleaning program such as Ccleaner, make sure it is not set to delete dump files. Without a dump files, I will do the best I can using the other files you uploaded.

I suggest that you uninstall Trend Micro using this removal tool: Tool (64 bit). Trend Micro is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in it place.

Outdated drivers can and do cause BSOD's. I find the following out of date drivers loaded on your system. The ones in red font are quite obsolete. Software designed for XP and not upgraded for Win 7 is not going to work with Win7, except in the XP mode. Update the following drivers through the links provided.
adfs.sys 6/26/2008 - Adobe File System Driver. Adobe. Rename this driver. See Note below.

MarvinBus64.sys 9/23/2005 - likely a part of Pinnacle Studio's Marvin Bus. Pinnacle Systems - Product Support. Tis is XP software; uninstall it.

PxHlpa64.sys 6/23/2009 - Sonic CD/DVD driver (used by many different CD/DVD programs) pxHelp20.sys programs
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename PxHlpa64.sys to PxHlpa64.BAK
This will break your CD/DVD program, but can easily be renamed after we've finished.

VMNetSrv.sys 1/24/2007 - Microsoft Virtual Machine Network Services Driver. Microsoft Download Center. Update this driver or upgrade the software through Microsoft.
   Note
Renaming drivers: create a restore point, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver files, and rename them from .sys to .old. Reboot and the drivers will not load. This will break whatever software or hardware these drivers are associated with.

Follow all of the above suggestions and let's see how your system does. Post back and let us know. If you get anohter BSOD, upload it to us and we will go from there.

I keep getting the bsod x119 every time I view UStream. I Googled it and it said a known cause it outdated video card drivers so I'm updating that now. I uninstalled virural PC 2007 (is that enough?). Im keeping Trend Micro because I dont trust Microsoft programs. Im still working up updating Pinnacle (without it my capture card doesn't work).
