BSOD - STOP ntfs.sys

Been regularly getting BSOD with STOP message of ntfs for a few weeks now. I have attached the zip file and also a screenshot.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 retail upgrade. Installed about a year ago. The original operating system was Vista ultimate.

Have upgraded the motherboard driver today and haven't had the BSOD since (touch wood) but not 100% that it was that.

Would really appreciate any help that you guys can give me to solve this issue.

1-ASACPI.SYS

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.SYS file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOTbefore).

3-Kaspersky. Often the cause of BSOD's


I do notice Kaspersky which is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.
