Today I got BSOD, no minidump was generated from memory dump file. Two entries in the event log:
(1) The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000001 (0x0000000076f0138a, 0x0000000000000000, 0x000000000000ffff, 0xfffff880092bfb60). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: .
(2) Unable to produce a minidump file from the full dump file.

log file uploaded, but it might not have the dump info in it. Thanks for looking into it!

Lets check why you aren't getting the .dmp files needed to look into the issue.

Download and run the attached .bat file from your desktop. It will write a file called dump.txt to your \Temp folder. Upload that file in your next reply.

Ok, I see why I didn't get the minidump, I have 16GB memory, but configured with 8GB page file size. I will make the change so I can get the minidump next time BSOD. Since this is just the second time BSOD in 2 weeks, I will close this thread for now, and open new one if it BSOD again.

Thanks a lot Golden for all the help and effort, really appreciate it!

If you like, we can force the BSOD.

Please do the following:

Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Driver Verifier will cause your computer to run very sluggishly - this is normal. What it is trying to do is force your system to BSOD and isolate the offending driver/s. When it does, reboot, disable driver verifier, reboot as normal and upload the new dmp file/s here.

I recommend creating a system restore point before turning on driver verifier:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/697-system-restore-point-create.html

If your system fails to boot to desktop once driver verifier is enabled, turn it off by booting into Safe Mode:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/69585-safe-mode.html

Unfortunately, the .dmp file is corrupted and cannot be read - please re-run Driver Verifier and lets see if we can get a readable .dmp file.

Thanks, I updated the intel driver, and got another BSOD today April 04 2015 with bugcheck code C1(SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION). I also want to mention that when I enabled driver verifier, I consistently getting BSOD during boot time with bugcheck code 0A(IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL), please see the mini dump on April 03 2015. I'd like to document the following have been done for you to consider:
(1) I have Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 motherboard, noticed lots of people online said the Gigabyte utilities could cause BSOD, I have none installed.
(2) I have run memory test over night for 8+ pass, no errors.
(3) Latest BIOS, no o.c., using defaults from BIOS setup.

This is my first time to build custom PC, so far this issue has been pain in a neck to deal with, really appreciate your help to nail down the issue!

This is the VMWare driver. It looks quite recent, so I suspect perhaps something else is the problem (possibly the audio issue). Get the audio issue sorted first, then see if you still get the 0xC9 BSOD. If you do, uninstall VMware, reboot, then reinstall the latest version.

Thanks for the detailed analysis. I checked the downloaded Realtek audio driver from your link above, it's the same version (MBfilt64.sys) as what I have installed, anyway, I removed the current driver, and installed the downloaded version. With the updated driver, I am able to boot from "driver verifier" mode without BSOD. This time the system stayed up for 3 days and BSOD'ed, attached is the latest dump file. Thanks a lot!

I updated windows last weekend, Microsoft Security Essential is not crashing any more. As I have 2x8GB memory, Gigabyte suggested me to remove one stick at a time and test. I tried this, the first stick gave me BSOD in a day. The second stick I left on motherboard is holding up so far, will let you know how this goes.

Thanks so much for helping me on this issue!
