Hey, i've used these forums a couple times now and really appreciate the help you guys have given me so far (thanks!!). Hopefully this is the last time i'm going to have to use these forums! I'm about to sell my PC, and don't want the new user to experience any of the problems I have been experiencing. I've been BSOdding for a while now, and have just learnt to live with it. I normally crash when i'm watching a YouTube video after I start up my PC, when it's been on for a while it doesn't seem to crash.

Here's a link to my file: http://www.filedropper.com/help

Thanks in advance guys!!

Update it to the latest, the 13.4 WHQL. Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Also upload your MSINFO32.nfo file. We need to check something there.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

The file you uploaded is corrupter or incomplete ... it is not opening. Try uploading a text version. Follow the earlier steps .... while in step 3, do File > Export.

How necessary it is, to you? If it is necessary, update it. If it is not, remove/disable it.

Is it a factory installed OS?

Can you enter into the BIOS and see what the storage controller mode is set to?

I'm not sure what you mean. I formatted my PC, reinstalled the drivers you mentioned, and i'm still BSODing! If I upload again do you think you might be able to identify the problem?

A formatting and reinstall without Silicon Image Starlink Controller is the first thing that is required here.

Next it would be possible to debug a Fence ID issue.
