Hey I've started severe BSOD issues, my computer won't even last a few minutes before BSODing. I've always had some issues with BSOD but that was because of my previous memory being bad. I've replaced it with some new RAM which I ran through MemTest and Windows Memory Diagonstic. It passed both times so I'm sure this one is fine.

Thought AMD drivers were the culprit but after trying out everyone from 10.4-11.8 I think it probably isn't. Please this happens when there are no AMD drivers present.

Logs are attached. Help would be appreciated.

Hello IAgree, welcome to SF!

Couple of potential problems here:

1. AODDriver2.sys was not loaded. This is OC software from AMD. When not stable... do NOT OC.

2. Multiple dumps show problems with ReadyBoost. Please turn that off - take out USB stick that you use for that.

3. It looks like you have not been able to complete WU. Can't say for sure because you did not upload full info as requested here: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

You also have some problems with Windows Update
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.
For help or reset see: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/91738-windows-update-reset.html

4. Older dumps also show problems with graphical drivers but lets finish the above first...

I uninstalled AMD Overdrive, my system is stock.

I've never used ReadyBoost, someone told me iTunes can somehow cause crashes related to ReadyBoost. Could that be it? Or do I disable the service, I would but apparently it slows down startup times.

I resetted Windows Update.

System specs are
Phenom II X4 965
ATI Radeon 5870
4GB 1600Mhz RAM
500GB WD Black

Provided BSOD logs already, here is a system log. There is a few hardware driver issues I think.

- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64 - the original installed OS on the system? I built this computer myself, installed OEM Windows 7. - an OEM or full retail version? Full retail - What is the age of system (hardware)? 1 year - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 1 year

Still missing lots of logs. Please check http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html step by step....

Please disable readyboost (as a test) just in case. If you don't have a readyboost USB or external HDD connected, you should not see a diff and it HAS caused problems/crashes multiple times.

Please also keep us up to date on new crashes if you have any...
Okay here are the other logs.

Reset Windows Update. Also uninstalled AMD drivers are they were crashing in game.

How do you disable the ReadyBoost service, I've already disabled it for all USB's but the service is still running.

BSOD's are getting worse for some reason, can't even get the computer running for 5 minutes without one. Do you now what's causing it, it's driving me insane

I'll have a look at the upload asap, am on a different system now where I cannot debug.
Meanwhile...
Try booting and running in Safe Mode w/networking for a while. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/69585-safe-mode.html

Also please give exact specs on the ram you put in?
Corsair Dominator 4GB 1600Mhz.
Corsair CMP4GX3M2A1600C9 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3
^ This set I believe.

It is listed as officially supported by my motherboard and I've run Windows Memory Diagonstic and MemTest86+ on it. Both passed. I had faulty sticks before but they're gone now.

Thanks, if it can be fixed though I'll probably just reinstall Windows.

Memtest for more thn 4 passes?

Try the Safe mode....
I did two passes but I could try 4. Does it look like a memory issue?

It does... But that still leaves a broad spectrum. Could well be that you just need to up the voltage a tad...

Follow the memtest tut well... At least 4 passes (takes about 4 hours) and Individual sticks....

Ok I'll do that and report back.

BlueScreenView says the culprit is ntoskrnl.exe, isn't that a Microsoft kernel?

It is. But that does not say anything, regretfully. Wish it were that easy as Bluescreenview simply telling what the exact thing is. If it WAS the kernel, your problems would be very different and much greater.

Ran 4 passes this morning and it passed.

Do the BSOD logs give you any idea what is causing this?
