I have Win 7 64 bit OS. HP P6-2203a computer, A8-5500 APU with integrated Radeon HD7560D & a HD7450 graphics card. 8 GB ram,2 x 4 GBs.I was prompted to update my flashplayer which I did and then the driver for my graphics card so I did that too from the AMD support site using their automatic diagnostic program that I had downloaded but once I had rebooted after the download my computer went crazy. Ive tried recovery to an earlier time,No difference? Then the BSoDs started and I couldn't boot into Windows without it freezing at "starting windows" with the icon above it. Ive tried safe mode and it worked the first time but now it freezes or hangs when it has loaded the files and says Please wait.I waited for an hour hoping it could sort itself out. Ive tried safe mode with network and command mode but they all freeze at the same place when the files have loaded? When I was in safe mode I went to device manager and it said if I remember right that the inbuilt graphic driver needed updating but I had only just updated that one too? Now I don't know what to do from here.Any idea, suggestions welcome. PS. Ive done a DPS test on the main hard drive and it came up OK.

What are you talking about ? Ive read the posting instructions? I said I have Win 7? and Ive explained if you have read my post at all. That I cant boot up Win 7 because it hangs at start-up. The computer hangs on safe-mode as well just when it has loaded all the files.Because I had experienced the BSoD I thought it appropriate to post here and add as much info as possible,as per the posting instructions?

Sorry, with such a text, it is easy to overlook a part.

Do you have recovery media? Can you boot to the troubleshooting options?

I do have recovery media but it didn't
work when I could still boot up. I reverted to an earlier time and still no difference. Now If I try to boot normally it gets to starting windows when those colored lights swirl into a windows icon and it stops there with the windows icon slowly pulsating.I can get to safe mode options but it hangs when it gets to loading the files then says "Please wait" Ive waited up to an hour just in case it was taking a while to sort itself out? It was recommended to me to download and run a program that would uninstall my graphics drivers in safe mode and another file to make safe-mode allow the uninstallation if the first one didn't work! They both didn't work.Ive run my recovery disk but that didn't work. I'm about to run a Kapersky repair disk. Ill let you know how it went.

OK,the Kapersky recovery disk didn't work at all? I had to do a re-install! I went to my IP down the road from me and they burnt me a windows 7 installation disk but that didn't work either? So out of desperation I suppose, I took out the graphics card the battery and changed the memory sticks over to different slots. When I re-assembled and started the computer up again it went into recovery mode? I never thought I would be jumping for joy because of that happening? Ha! The tech at the computer shop who is very good, advised me to re-install windows,he said this fault is very tricky.
