Hi, I'm coming here as a last resort. Our computer has been crashing the last week. We upgraded to windows 7 about a month ago and had no problems until recently.

My husband has updated drivers, run memtest on each stick of memory individually and together. He has run ctools in dos. He ran realtek ethernet diagnostic, nvidia diagnostics, restored the computer, and lastly he updated the bios. We thought this worked, but after more than 24 hours blue screen free it crashed today. He's also called a couple companies for the hardware listed above.

The error we most often get is page_fault_in_nonpaged_area stop:0x00000050. We have had a handful of others.

My husband is interested in the advice in bumping the voltage, but he doesn't know exactly how to try that.

I uploaded the zipped analysis here: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

Any suggestions on where to search next would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Jasmin

I forgot to add that Crash Analyzer Wizard was unable to determine a likely cause.

Hi Jasmin

they both crashed because of corrupt memory management

You should download memtestx86 and run it for 5 passes

Let us know if you need help

OK...unfortunately I am back. We ran memtest again (we had run it before twice,) this time it came up with errors in the first pass. My husband took out two sticks of memory, and the remaining memory went through 6 passes in memtest and no errors were detected. We thought everything was OK, but Windows shut down unexpectedly again. I attached another minidump.

Also, I did run Crash Analyzer, but it said to make sure the driver at fault is up to date...but does not list the driver... so I'm confused.

I think this is a pic of your MB :geek: Do you have the memory sticks installed in the correct slots per the MB Manual ? Sometimes in the past through Trial & Error
there have been bad MB slots or bad memory sticks. We have to try to rule out each possibility. ;)

Thanks... My husband is the one with the answer to that, and he's sleeping. My computer just crashed again, and this time the crash analyzer says, "the driver probably at fault is pool_corruption."

How do you "Rep" helpful members? :)

I'm back again... :( We now have a new motherboard and hard drive... I think they were both under warranty. The memory went through 6 passes on memtest with no errors.

My husband wants to know if the CPU could be causing the problem. It is also new.

I attached another minidump in case anyone is interested.
