BSOD twice in one night: seems related to Supreme Commander

Okay, like the thread title implies, I've had 2 BSOD tonight, and I think they're related. One occurred in the first few minutes of a Supreme Commander:Forged Alliance game(during which my computer lagged heavily for an unknown reason). This one had a driver flagged as a reasons, DRiver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL .

The second was the more troubling. It was another game, and one where my internet seemed to cut out completely, and essentially freezing the game(I had to CTRL ALT Del the game closed). When trying to fix my internet, I found myself unable to disconnect from the network I was connected to, nor was I able to open the network sharing center at all. When I tried running the router set-up disk, I triggered another BSOD, without any driver stated as the reason. Both seemed to have a similar error code though.

Pretty lost here, so any help would be appreciated.

Try to update it from the manufacturer's site.

Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.
Let us know the results.
