Solved Bsod twice

Hi there,

Got BSOD twice and the computer shutdown on its own, see attached report.

Its the same Dell N5110 system, however, I had done a clean reinstall and win seven ultimate was loaded in June this year.

Anti virus is Avast, I had MS Essentials earlier, but my local computer repair guy told me that Avast is better, I don't know-plz advice.

I did a windows scanner, am attaching the result.

I don't recall installing any new hardware, etc, so am unaware, as to how did this happen.

I look through your information and their seem to be a Knowledge Base number missing so lets start at square 1.

Counterfeit installations such as yours (HP OEM on DELL system) contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.
