I just recently built my system about two weeks ago. I am running Windows 7 Professional and have been getting blue screens mainly when I am surfing the internet. I have been reading forums for some potential causes and have seemed to come up with nothing. I ran memtest86+ and passed. I also ran hard drive diagnostics and passed. I was hoping I would be able to get some direction by actually posting my own thread. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I looked at your last three dumps all have the same error code are essentially the same.

To begin your troubleshooting, I suggest your uninstall Norton using this removal tool: Tool. Norton is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 system and one of your dumps shows Norton was involved in the crash. Download and install Microsoft Security Essential and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.

Error code D1, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Usual causes: Device driver.

All three dumps blame e1q62x64.sys, which is part of your Intel based Ethernet Adapter. The dumps also show that Norton was involved in the crash.

I also find the following out of date drivers on your system.. Older drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Update these drivers, especially the 2008 driver.

How to find drivers -

- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box below. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
Uninstall Norton, update these drivers and reboot. Let's see how your system does. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

I have uninstalled Norton and installed Microsoft Secuirty Essentials. I updated the CyberLink FCL Driver, and as for the other two I have not found any drivers that were newer then mine. We will see how it goes from here I guess. Thanks for giving me something to start with.

You have not changed any hardware and have update Cyberlink. Just zip and upload the dumps for now.

I did some more digging and I found out my network driver was 11.4.7.0 and most sites were saying that was the newest driver but there was a 15.5.74.0. I will post back tomorrow to let you know how it is working.

I looked at all of the dumps dated Nov 1st. Every one is error code D1 and blames e1q62x64.sys, which is up to date.. There are three possibilities:
1. e1q62x64.sys is corrupted and should be reinstalled
2. The Intel network Adapter is faulty.
3. Another driver or program is interfering causing e1q62x64.sys to crash.
4. Bad RAM.

Here is a thread from Asus that I suggest you read. Read all the way through the thread.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum- Bluescreening Like Crazy

Each of your dumps shows 000.fcl Sep 26 2008 is still loading on your system. You should upgrade Cyberlink (for which I think you will have to pay) or uninstall it. I also find these out of date drivers:
000.fcl Fri Sep 26 09:11:22 2008 - CyberLink FCL Driverhttp://www.gocyberlink.com

Tosrfhid.sys Tue May 19 21:23:51 2009 - Toshiba Bluetooth HID DriverToshiba Support - Homepage
Any of the above drivers potentially can cause interference.

Asus PCProbe Utility - Upgrade Asus Probe or uninstall it.

Toshiba Bluetooth - try to update the drivers from Toshiba or consider uninstalling and trying new Bluetooth software.

Test your RAM with Memtest following the instructions in this tutorial. Run it for at least 7 passes. This will take 6-8 hours. Errors, if any, will show on your screen in red. Post back your results. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
