Hi,
So I have been have some issues for a while now and have not been able to do much on my own to solve them. Problem seems to occur when my wireless adapter (TL-WN722N) randomly stops working resulting in:
1. Try to reboot - hangs on windows shut down, eventually a BSOD
2. Try to disable/re-enable in Device Manager. Device Manager stops responding. See #1
3. Try to uninstall/reinstall in Device Manager. Process hangs, eventual BSOD.

I have tried old and new drivers with the same results. I have also tried disabling the power saving feature in Device Manager.

The second issue is on bootup, randomly hangs at windows startup. I have to reboot from there and then the RAID controller indicates my RAID needs to be verified. Once into Windows intel rapid storage verifies the RAID and all seems fine. Usually if I shut down prior to the adapter failing everything ends up fine.

Please see the attached dump file per the BSOD post instructions. System info below:

Try updating your mouse and keyboard drivers as well as any software associated with them.

Run an sfc/scannow command in an elevated command prompt. If errors are found, run it twice more with each scan followed by a reboot.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

You have AVG installed, is that correct? At least to test, uninstall it and install MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) instead.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

The following drivers need to be updated:

Code:
ALSysIO64.sys Mon Apr 20 05:41:04 2009
GEARAspiWDM.sys Mon May 18 22:17:04 2009
LHidFilt.Sys Thu Jun 18 02:49:39 2009
LMouFilt.Sys Thu Jun 18 02:49:43 2009
These drivers can be found by searching them in Google and then finding the associated software or driver. Finally, find the latest version of this driver or software and download and install it. Some of the drivers may also be found here (if the driver says 'Windows Update' simply make sure all Windows Updates are installed).

You should also update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset, SSD etc.

Make sure all Windows updates are installed.

Many thanks for your response!

-Mouse driver/firmware/software are up to date.
-Uninstalled and downloaded/installed latest drivers/software for Logitech Keyboard/Mouse (dinovo edge) and webcam (c910) - this should address LHidFilt.sys and LMouFilt.sys
-Uninstalled/reinstalled CoreTemp64 to address ALSysIO64.sys (hopefully)
-Combed over all other components checking for up to date drivers/software, everything else should be fine (I hope). I wasn't sure of updating chipset stuff etc.. aside from checking the ASUS support page.
-Checked windows update and everything is up to date.

I removed AVG and replaced with MSE before posting as I had read about some of those issues, but I suppose there are still traces of AVG left?

Finally, I did 3 scannow passes with no errors last night before reading your response. I also did one after installing/updating the items listed above, no errors.

The only one I did not address directly was the GEARAspiWDM.sys - CD-ROM filter which comes with iTunes, although I did update iTunes to the latest version.
The only thing

Same thing happened today. Everything was running fine for several hours, suddenly during a Skype call the connection was lost and I could not detect any networks. Tried the windows 'troubleshoot problems' route, which did nothing but disable my adapter. Tried re-enabling resulting in a hung process. Rebooting hung on the windows shutting down screen, then BSOD citing USB Bugcode Driver. Rebooted successfully and all is well again, for now.

See attached. I just archived the latest dump for this BSOD and left out the rest. Let me know if I should include more than this, or if I messed something up. Thanks again!!

Sorry. Here they are.

Unplugged everything and shut down. On boot it froze at the windows logo. I had to shut it off and turn it on again, which then brought me to the repair/start normally selection. I left it alone, and it went into the repair option, and proceeded to freeze. I shut it off again, turned it back on, and had to plug my keyboard back in to choose start normally. Booted into windows fine, but the RAID controller indicated "Verify". Intel Rapid Storage is now verifying and repairing.

Performed a repair install per the instructions. Once back into windows and prior to re-activating, the network adapter did not seems to be working. I disabled and re-enabled through device manager successfully and have had no issues since.

I will report back if the BSOD persists. Let me know if you need to see any log files from the repair or anything of that nature.

Ran Memtest overnight - 11 passes with no errors.
Just rebooted from setting up verifier so I will post back as soon as it triggers something. I assume BSOD dump as per usual is all I should upload? If there is some additional report generated by verifier let me know and I will add it to the zip file.

Many thanks Jaidyn!

So I've turned on driver verifier per your instruction and have not had a BSOD since. I have had the same issue where the wireless adapter stops working randomly, however it is not as often and I am able to successfully disable/enable in device manager to get it working again.
