Have a new computer with Windows 7 Ultimate on it. Ran great for a couple months then suddenly I started getting a BSOD usually when I was on Google chrome. Most of the time I'm on streaming sites such as youtube, twitch and hitbox.

24GB ram

8 Core AMD FX 9590

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

AMD R9 290

All help is appreciated.

It is error code 0xa0000001 and it says it was caused by atikmdag.sys if that helps any.

That bugcheck is specifically related to your AMD driver,

And you have the latest WHQL driver,

Code:
Loaded symbol image file: atikmdag.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys
    Image name: atikmdag.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR="Red"]Thu Apr 17 19:13:16 2014[/COLOR] (53508A3C)
    CheckSum: 00EAEEE6
    ImageSize: 00F10000
    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

My suggestion would be trying a different driver, either an earlier version or one of the Beta versions.

It looks like the only previous driver that will work on your card is the 13.12,

Just updated to a beta driver. I'll give it a week since the BSOD didn't happen very often. Thanks much for the info.
