BSOD using outlook 2013
Hi, I was downloading emails (3000) and left the computer overnight when BSOD occured. It's a brand new machine, no changes made, I am very concerned. I can still send it back to the shop (2 days old). I would really appreciate your help with that I would really like to know what is causing the problem. Many thanks. All the required files attached.

I have just run system scan (as suggested in another post) I hope it may help with determining the cause.
It said: ' Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations'. THanks.

Use it as you were using it. If you get anymore BSOD upload the file using the tool once more and click on GRAB ALL again.

Thank you very much I really appreciate this. 2 questions if I may. What is the safe alternative to Auslogic DiskDefrag (I was not aware it may cause any problems). The second one - was the problem caused by HDD?

First Answer: I personally use Diskeeper now their new name is condusiv

Link : Condusiv Technologies: High Performance Software Solutions

Second Answer : Yes the BSOD was hard drive related. It was probably caused by both the Auslogic Defrag program and the old driver.

If you get anymore BSODs upload the dmp file once more and we will go from there. I would hate to have you return a 2 day old laptop .

Thanks again I really appreciate you help, if you need any British tea or anything that can be easily posted to US, give me a shout I'll see what I can do :)
As far as the laptop's concerned I still have 4 days to return it, and I'd rather do it than be stuck with a faulty unit ( I did run SMART tests which came back clean). Now I have to figure out a way to replicate the situation when it happened to see if the BSD will come back. Anyway thanks again and I hope the problem's solved.
P.s. I am serious about the tea :)

We could run SFC /scannow.

Click on the :orb: button type CMD inside Search programs and files box. Right click on CMD under Programs (1) choose Run as administrator. On the USER ACCESS CONTROL window click on the Yes button or press Alt+Y same result . Command Prompt will open to path C:\Windows\System32>_

Type this command below

SFC /SCANNOW
Press <ENTER>

If SFC locates any corrupted files upload the CBS.log.

Location of Log : C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.LOG

That is good. That means it didn't locate any corrupted Windows files.

If you get any more bsods just upload them. Before the 4 days left until you could return the laptop.

Also go ahead if you're going to keep the laptop create Recovery Discs just in case also I recommend writing down the Product Key on the bottom of the laptop and keep it in a safe place just in case you need to Reinstall Windows one day. That sticker does get warn out .

Thanks, what I usually do (and done this time) is created disk image (Acronis True Image) and keep it in a safe place in case I need to reinstall it (then I just restore the drive). I don't know if that is a good ways but so far it worked without any problems.

Oh, and out of curiosity, although it may sound like a dumb question, from your experience on scale from 1 to 10 what are the chances of me getting a BSD again?

Its hard to say. BSODs are caused by a lot of stuff. Viruses, hardware or software issues. Do you have any Antivirus software installed ? If you do go ahead and update the definitions then do a full scan. If you don't download MSE

Hi lukemike,

Honestly, if your having these issues "out of the box" so to speak, I would be seriously thinking to send it back
to the vendor ASAP.
Get your money back and buy a better Laptop :)
