Prior to asking hundreds of questions, and wasting time regarding this issue...

Kindly tell us exactly where you got your copy of CS5, and why you are not contacting Adobe?

Not sure why it matters where I purchased it but I got CS5.5 Production Premium from BandHPhoto.com.

The computer has crashed with BSOD doing other operations (surfing the web, using Microsoft Outlook) however I primarily use the system for editing. It's less than a month old. The reason I posted here was there was another person that was having an issue with BSOD and Premiere and it turned out to be his SSD drivers. I also have an SSD. I can't seem to find out how to open the .dmp file to see what's inside which may point to the problem.

Thanks for the help.

I had to ask because Adobe products are one of the most pirated out there! Everyone wants them, nobody wants to pay for them! Our crew here wastes thousands of hours assisting users who have illegal or pirated copies, so I wanted to prevent that waste of time.

So, have you contacted Adobe tech support? If so, what did they have to say?

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying Darryl and thanks for helping me with this.

Adobe had issues with BSOD using their Titler (which I haven't used at all), however, they fixed that in their latest update (which I updated first to the latest version to see if that would fix the issue but it hasn't). I searched the web to see if others were having this issue and found this forum with other similar posts and it seems that in the other cases it was a hardware issue. Sorry, if I posted in the wrong forum regarding the issue. I have also gotten BSOD's while not using Premiere so I don't think it's specific to Adobe.

Is there a specific program I need to read the dmp file for clues?

Thanks.

Hi.

The 95% of your minidumps points your nvidia gpu.

Though start with this,

Remove Zone Alarm from your system,ZA is notorious source of bsod.

Download, install and use Microsoft Security Essentials with windows firewall.

Finish and post back.
