Solved BSOD using xbox 1 controller

Only recently have i come across this issue and it is already sending me cray. My Xbox one controller driver seems to be conflicting with something and I cant find what it is, I have checked conflicts/sharing in System information and could not find the conflict. I have also reinstalled the driver multiple times,still no luck. I also have a blue screen viewer which i cant use to help you find the problem because my computer doesn't dump the crash files for some reason :huh: the controller is completely unusable because as soon as i plug it in, i blue screen. any help would be appreciated and im also attaching a picture of the blue screen , it appears to have no topic though which is strange?

Remove the software from IObit and revert the changes made by them (use a system restore point for it) and update the Gigabyte Intel USB drivers from here GIGABYTE - Moederbord - Socket 1150 - G1.Sniper M5 (rev. 1.x).

Depending on your usage it may be a hell of troubleshooting, focused to Driver Booster 3, because it is known for causing a lot of problems with BSODs.

ah right, i did not know that. It helped me fix one of my bluescreen problems ive had ever since i got my computer, and this is the first issue since

That one may be very lucky, such programs install corrupted or wrong drivers causing serious problems.
Currently the only solution that did help after the use of such programs, when no system restore was present, was a clean installation. That is because those programs replace some drivers by their own which originally are from Windows self, these can't be reinstalled without a reinstallation or an update from Windows Update as they are in use and you as the user can't do anything with it while they're in use. The only way such programs can replace them is by installing their own drivers and asking for a reboot so they can be replaced.

The best way to remove those drivers is a clean install yes.

Yes, some prefer a complete format to prevent a folder called Windows.Old from being created after a clean install which contains some stuff you can recover from the previous installation

hi, sorry this is much later than my original post, but i've completed the clean install and the xbox one controller drivers still dont want to install, i have tried everything on the internet so far. I have even downloaded the drivers manually but they still dont install and i updated the firmware of the controller on an xbox one so t is up to date. pls help
