I have started to get some crashes. They come usally when I'm using Chrome to look at videos (YouTube), but they also occur when I'm listening to music and doing something else e.g. using Visual Studio at the same time.

I have gotten about four crashes lately. Only two of them created a minidump?

Hope you can help!

Hello Richard,

I have been busy with backing up my system...

But now I have checked with NVidea and they say:

GeForce 9600M GS 301.42 Your PC currently has the latest driver installed for your GPU. No driver update is necessary at this time.

So, I have the latest driver. should I uninstall and install it again?

If you did not, update from the website and not windows updater.
If they say you have the most current, go to device manager and try to roll back to prior version. Before you try anything, create a system restore point, it may be necessary to use in the future.

Unfortunately I didn't have any restore point before this problem occured.
So I uninstalled the NVidia driver. Used Driver Sweeper to make sure it was gone. and then installed the latest version again.

So far it seems to work...

Thanks for you help!
