BSOD - What seems to me to be randomly

Hi!

I have bought a new computer and I picked the different parts together to make it as good as possible (though my GPU was just a backup since I wasn't getting a new one but taking it from my old system, but it burned because it didn't get enough air when it stood where I had it) and ended up what I thought was a really good computer. It looked just fine at start after installing Win 7 64bit. I installed F-Secure, the latest one, I installed some other applications and on the first days I had no problems.

But one day, when I was in a great mood I experienced my first BSOD and thought it was just temporary, because I thought I had done something to cause it. But it kept giving me BSOD's all the time, and it could be just 10 minutes in between them sometimes, and several hours too. So I haven't been able to see any pattern in it all, as I have done the same things in both of the situations. I have most of my specs written in my profile, but those that I am not sure of I skipped.

I turned it in at a store and they told me F-Secure caused it. But i uninstalled it and I still get it and still as frequently as before. That is all information I can think of at the moment. I have uploaded the .zip of the SF diagnostic results on a ftp becuase it was 40 mb, so it didn't upload it here.

I might aswell add that I'm really tired of it (got it 5 times on login) so I'm going to reinstall my win 7 and see if it bluescreens when it's fresh too. So I hope I have a reply when I get back :D

DMP didn't give too much info.

I suggest a system files check. Open an elevated command prompt and enter sfc /scannow.

If the BSODs continue, please upload the new files.

I have ran the sfc /scannow before i reinstalled and it came back okay according to it. I haven't done it on this fresh install yet because I haven't had a bluescreen yet when I have been close. I think I got it during last night but I had not turned of the go to sleep mode, and I heard that could cause it from reading the other posts. But so far it's good but I dare not install anything so I'll make a log of what I install to see when it starts again.

And when it happens i'll upload the dumps :) but so far, this forum is great and I am happy I found it! :)

Well here I am once again. I got a crash just some minutes ago while playing world of warcraft. I had installed it and to try running it because I often got the crash while playing a game or doing a lot of stuff (taking a lot of memory) so I am attaching the dmp.

This time I'm going to uninstall my video drivers just in case. So if you can help me by telling me how i unstall them and install another one without letting windows do it first, I'll be grateful :)

Edit: I am not extracting the main driver only to get rid of the other stuff that I know is running in 32bit, like the control panel and such. Hope this helps, and if not I'm out of clues.

i knew that part, but the part that makes windows not install a new one automaticly and the part where i skip the stuff i don't need. PhysX is only supported in 32-bit and 3D-vision as well. PhysX is a thing i would like to use to be honest, but now i have to get rid of it to see if that is causing it, as i suspect.

i tried to extract the .exe with the drivers and went to the place where i could see the current driver version (don't know the word in english) and selected update, and chose the folder with the extracted stuff.

I hope people who have nvidia finds turning PhysX off helps. It helped for me! :)

What do you mean, you haven't installed USB 3? If it is using the generic drivers, try downloading some, and see if it helps any.

I forgot I had USB 3.0 on this motherboard and the latest BS was caused my usbport.sys something, so I bet that is the one. But it's the first one caused by my USB. And it's the only one I have gotten since I turned PhysX off in the nvidia control panel.

well it seems my luck will never return, i got 2 screens just after each other now and this is the dumps.

it was not the USB and I don't know what to do anymore. I am out of ideas and it's so frustrating to not be able to use the computer i spent so much money on and realize i could do just as good without it.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
    bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80002c90183, address which referenced memory

Well if that is the latest ones, that were the ones I had. And it did not work. So I erased it and installed Windows 7 32 bit now. I am prepared to put my life on that this is going to work without any problems.

And I noticed that my USB 3.0 drivers did not want to cooperate with Windows 7 64-bit, it still ended up unrecognized while browsing the hardware.

As this is not my real Windows license I will only be able to use it for 3 days so I still need help. I have tried the GPU drivers several times. Still does not work. I have uninstalled them manually, it prompts me to reboot. I do, windows installs a new one (which is not the latest) so that I have to install on top of that.

What directions did you follow when using Driver Verifier? If you used Cap'n Jack's instructions - then I'd have to suspect that you have a hardware problem (because of the number of different BSOD errors - and the presence of Windows drivers in a Verifier enabled memory dump that should have been checking for 3rd party drivers).

Additionally, the STOP 0xC4 error from post 15 was also a Verifier Enabled memory dump - and it blames ntkrnlmp.exe (the kernel (core) of the Windows OS). Again, if you specified having Driver Verifier check for 3rd party (non-Microsoft) drivers - then this is also indicative of a hardware issue (can also be an incompatibility).

Please do more research and give us more information on the specifications of your system.
