Hi,

I am having BSOD regularly now, I'm guessing its related to driver verifier which I ran recently.
I don't play game on my system so that is out and I get BSOD when using my system for normal things people do with system like browsing or reading etc. I'm suspecting my AV Bitdefender Internet Security though.

CHKDSK did not report any hard disk error, I'm yet to run Memtest but I don't think I have any memory problems.

BlueScreenView identifies IFXTPM.SYS and NetWsw02.sys as the culprit.
Let me also add this, I ran SFC /Scannow like a week back, it reported some errors which it was unable to fix.

I have a HP 850 G1 running windows 7.
I tried using the dm log collector, all it did was created an empty zip file on my desktop after running the CMD script.

Thank you

IFXTPM I'm not sure about what this driver is but the netwsw02 is the wifi driver

Please check HP for driver updates for everything and also check your Windows Update if it is updated (can't check it :( )

IFXTPM.sys is the driver for Infineon Trusted Platform Module and its driver year reads 2007.

My BIOS has a newer version, maybe that will fix my BSOD.

Windows is updated as at this morning. I actually installed the OS on the first week of this month which is why its surprising I am getting BSOD this early.

Thanks for your response.

Best to uninstall/update/reinstall the Infineon Trusted Platform for stability.
Drivers that are older than the release date of the OS only give problems.

I will try to reinstall although that is the last known release year for the TPM driver, it has not been updated ever since.

Quick update

I tried uninstalling the TPM driver but each time I uninstall it, it causes a BSOD.

I have done it like twice now so I'm sure about this.

Please what do you experts suggest I do next.

To what is this driver related? You need to remove the related stuff to remove the driver.

The TPM I believe is on the motherboard, which means I have to open up the system.

It's a security device for software/firmware hash verification and I don't even think I'm suppose to remove it.

Then you might want to check your laptop manufacturer for updates, I can't because I don't have enough information of your system to check for updates.

I disabled driver verifier and updated the BIOS. I have enabled verifier again this morning but no BSOS so far.

I will update the thread in the next few days, I hope its not a false positive.
