BSOD when computer awakens from sleep mode

I am periodically getting a BSOD when my computer awakens from sleep mode. New computer, less than six months old running Windows 7 professional. Any help would be most appreciated

I ran the short generic test and short drive self test for the drives that I have and all passed. Is it necessary to run the long generic test? Looks like it will take 5 to 7 hours to do that. My C drive is a Seagate but a SSD so that wasn't tested.

Run SeaTools on the SSD then.

When I scan using Seatools for windows, my C: Drive SSD doesn't show up in the list of options to test. I have an internal HDD and two external drives which did show up and were tested and passed. Not sure why the internal SSD isn't in the list of discs on Seatools. I found these two items in the Seatools troubleshooting guide: SeaTools may not find or access hard disk drives when CMOS is set to "none" for those drives. SeaTools may not detect individual drives attached to RAID controller I have no idea what either of these things means but wonder if that applies to me.

From where did you get the settings for driver verifier?
Please disable driver verifier

I have disabled the driver verifier. I got the settings for that at a microsoft.com forum that I found when I first had this problem. I ran the driver verifier and then forgot to disable. I have gone to update device drivers in the control panel and right clicked on my Samsung 850pro SSD--clicked "update driver software". It says that the driver software for the device is up to date. Do I need to do anything else with this?

I didn't say anything about the drivers, but the firmware which you can update with help of this link: Samsung SSD Downloads | Samsung SSD

I downloaded the Samsung magician software to check for firmware updates, if available, and I have the current firmware.
