I have BSOD problem only when computer is "cold".
example: After night when computer was turned off.

After a few restarts the computer starts normally and I can reboot, turn of and on
with no problem until is "warm".
When switching off for a few hours BSOD comes back.

So it is caused by your Disk, which is almost full.

At first, you Try to fee some space up, following the tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/129976-hard-disk-space-free-up-recover.html. Or you may buy another disk to store your data.

At the same time, check if the HDD works properly. Run chkdisk/r/f following the option 2 of the tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html .

Do a disk defragment.

Remove all the sata and power cables connected to the HDD, and reseat those.

Let us know how it works now.

I have a problem for some time and I figured it could be a HDD.
I bought a new one and installed a new copy of system.

chkdsk /f show no errors.

I have 1TB hdd and only system with drivers, all microsoft updates and few programs like Firefox, Thunderbird etc.

The strange thing is that the error is only when system is cold.
After heating the computer works without problems.

This can be a power supply problem?

Have you tried the safe mode? The results will help us a lot in taking further steps.

Does it crashes in safe mode too, or not?

Those are Adaptec SATA support system driver files.

Search for the drivers in Adaptec - Technical Support.
