No system specs entered, which would help.
But doing a google search for bcc code 50 comes up with two potential areas. (1) Memory and (2) run chkdsk /f on the OS. But memory would be my suggestion to start with. If you have a memory or complete PC hardware diagnostic, such as the diagnostic partition on many Dell's (accessed by F12 at power on) run the diagnostics.

Problem one--SPTD.sys is a huge BSOD problem,. Used by daemon tools and alcohol120 it has to be removed.

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads
[/quote]
You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview

Problem two--old drivers--especially your Rt86win7.sys. Realtek 8101E/8168/8169 NDIS 6.20 32-bit Driver.

Update it.

Problem 3---H1.exe (not a gamer ) needs to be re-installed.

Problem 3---H1.exe (not a gamer ) needs to be re-installed

it reffers to hl.exe from counter-strike 1.6, it's on steam.

i will try problem 1 and 2 and see if it works, thanks for the help
_______________

problem 1 solved, uninstalled daemon/SPDT driver and installed magicDisc
problem 2 solved, updated latest 2010 drivers
problem 3 solved, reinstalled cs through steam but i don't think that was the problem.

now i will test and see if i get BSOD.

Thank you

Glad to hear the problems are resolved. For future, there is a specific section to post your system specs in the "UserCP". e.g. if you click on "My System Specs" in the lower left of my post you will be able to look at my system. This is where yours needs to be.

NO, his main issue is not solved, he's still getting the BSODs, as he said.
I'm getting the BSODs on windows 7 too - for about 10 months now (i'm serious!)

I've been using Windows 7 Professional 64bit till july 2010, and Windows 7 Professional 32bit from july until now. BSODs appeared on both versions, most of the times i exited a game (Counter-strike, half-life2 deathmatch, even quake live etc).

Searched a bit on the net, found similar topics even on this forum, but no real solution.

Should have started your own thread as your issue is different. If you are having BSOD's we need the DMP files created when the system crashed.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

ok, i'm attaching the content from the minidump folder. it's only from my win 7 32bit, i have no files left from my win 7 64bit installation (prior to july).
i find the issues quite similar to alexseven's description, i've seen BSODs more often when exiting Counter-Strike (maybe because it's my most played game). About 1 of 10 times when pressing quit in the game, would result in a BSOD - saying something about cdd.dll, sometimes win32k.sys, sometimes no file was specified. While the BSOD was on my screen, a buzzing noise could be heared from my speakers (I've disabled the automatic restart, so i can get to read the messages in the BSOD - i even took pictures of them).
I got BSODs not only in games, but also when exiting Steam, and sometimes Yahoo messenger (v 10).
I don't know if it matters, but i use iTunes quite often so it was running most of the time on my computer.

I was suspecting the video card to be faulty (which i purchased just before i've migrated to windows 7 - thanks to MS Academic Alliance for the free license, btw :D). Unfortunately, the video card seems to be working properly, since i'm running windows XP again for about two weeks now, and there's no sign of any BSOD on windows XP (and i'm spending more time in games - mainly Counter-strike - than i was spending in the last weeks or so, on windows 7).

forgot to mention: during the months spent running windows 7 (either 32 or 64bit version) i've tried several versions of display driver, some from the asus site, others directly from amd/ati site. got BSODs on all, don't remember if there was a differrence in the frequency of BSODs between each driver version.
i was thinking of trying older audio driver versions, but can't seem to find other version available than the last one (from gigabyte site). On windows XP i'm using now an older audio driver (i've got an older version from the CD) - so i don't really know if the audio driver version is the reason for the BSOD.
