I have an HP Envy DV7-7247cl that came installed with Windows 8. Due to software that I use (AutoCAD) I wiped the hard drive and installed Windows 7 Professional. Everything was working great for about 3 months. I started getting BSOD when I was connecting to my wireless network. I have not had any problems when I disable the wireless card or when I am connected to a docking station. I uninstalled/reinstalled every driver I could find for the Realtek wireless card that was installed. Nothing helped. Since the driver was not causing the problem I assumed the card must have gone bad. I ordered and installed an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 card. Things seemed great for about a week then the BSOD started happening again. Any help would be great. I am at a loss.

Thanks,
Todd

When you installed Windows 7, did you use Windows 7 drivers ot install the Windows 8 drivers? The last dump files were 7-29-14 and there were 3 of them. In those 3, were the exact thing.

Code:
lmvm hpdskflt
start end module name
fffff880`0181c000 fffff880`01826000 hpdskflt T (no symbols)

That is the HP Mobile Data Protection System Disk Filter and can be updated at

Also listed was
Code:

That is the Samsung RAPID Mode Disk Filter driver and should be able to be updated at Download Center: Download Software, Firmware, Drivers & Manuals | Samsung

Also, the Samsung Rapid mode Filter may or may not be a cause of your issues but may be listed because it was in use at the time of the BSOD. However, I would make sure the driver is up to date and the firmware is up to date. See if updating those makes the issue better and let us know the results.

Thanks.

The HP Mobile Data Protection System Disk Filter was the latest version available on HP's website. I just uninstalled it and have had not had any problems since then.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

You're more than welcome, but I would give it more time before declaring it fixed.
