Solved BSOD when idling

Hey guys,

Recently, my laptop has started getting BSOD errors especially when the laptop is idle (e.g. when I leave it on to convert videos or download sth). When I view the errors using Bluescreenview, it comes up as

DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE
ntoskrnl.exe+7f1c0

Erm thats just the file I got after using the SF Diagnostics Tool and pressing "grab all". Is there something wrong with it?

The file indicates that you have an illegal copy of an adobe product on your computer. further more looking at your systeminfo.txt file I see that your product key matches an Acer/Gateway/Packard product key but the system manufacturer is HP, which would mean an activation exploit was used to activate the copy of windows you are currently using. Did this copy of windows come pre-installed on your machine or did you buy it through a third party?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure about the Adobe - I haven't downloaded any new adobe products since I got the laptop, but I have seen some update pop-ups.
As for the product key discrepancy, the laptop originally came with Windows Vista (what it says on the sticker) but when I received it, it had Windows 7.

Then you have been sold a laptop with a counterfeit copy of windows installed, and if it cam preinstalled with any adobe software (other than reader or flash or any other free adobe products) they too are illegal copies. The best course of action is to purchase a legal copy of windows seven format your drive and reinstall.
