Solved BSOD when I'm NOT using my computer, driver or memory problem?

Right, so Seven Forums has helped me fix a BSOD in the past so I trust it can help me now!

On to business, The BSODs are random, but they usually happen when I am at school during the day or gone for the weekend. (I'll come back to find a "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shut down" when I click more info it will say type: Blue Screen) I have ran Memtestx86 overnight (12+ hours), and windows memory diagnostic (again 12+ hours) and neither has found any issues. I have tried reseating RAM, tested all 4 slots, switched them around, and still it didn't help. I used Bluescreenview to find that virtually all of the Blue screens were caused by the drivers "ntoskrnl.exe" "nvlddmkm.sys" & "Ntfs.sys" I have tried updating all the drivers I could think of, and still no dice. Also when I play Left 4 Dead 2 or Planetside 2 I will experience game crashes related to lack of memory. So far all my issues seem to come from poor memory management, yet I have 16 gigabytes of RAM and a 1 Terrabyte hard drive... leading me to think I have some driver issues, but I can't seem to find any, but then again I don't exactly know where to look.

I ran the driver verifier first stated in the linked post, and it forced some BSODs about five seconds after my computer was completely booted up (at the desktop with apps beginning to run, e.g. Steam checking for updates)

All 4 blue screens caused by verifier identified "GameKB.sys" with code "STOP: 0x000000c4"
I tried researching gamekb.sys but came up with absolutely nothing

Continued running driver verifier, found two sources of BSODs, one was a Sharkoon keyboard driver, the other was an Asus Bluetooth driver. I updated both and have been running verifier with no blue screens for about an hour now, I will continue running it for the recommended 36 hours to see if anything else causes an issue. Will update again at that time!

Right,so i ran verifier for 36 hours, and it gave me no further blue screens, however today when I got home to check on my pc, it was completely frozen and needed a hard reboot. Also my games continue to crash every now and then. Since the freeze didn't give me a .dmp to post for analysis, are there any tests I can run to see the cause(s)?

Have you disabled Driver Verifier? It can cause freezes.

Yep. I turned it off, but since then I have had a few more BSODs, all 0x101s.

Your TrendMicro Internet Security may be causing problems, it is best to remove the program, and then use these free and most stable alternatives:

• Uninstalling Trend Micro program using the Diagnostic Toolkit

Install and perform full scans with:

I read the recommended security system thread & downloaded the full setup, then did full system scans with updated malwarebytes and superantispyware, and both turned up empty besides a couple cookies.Now with Trend Micro gone I'll continue regular use and see if it continues blue screening or not and post back the results.

PS. Thanks for bringing up that thread on free security, I was gonna need to renew trend micro titanium in a couple months, so this will save me a few hundred bucks!!

With Trend Micro gone the Blue Screens have stopped, and only one freeze has occurred, but now I know the cause, so I can handle it.
