Solved BSOD when opening certain programs

Hi everyone!
So, i was playing an MMORPG while browsing the net and watching anime (yeah, I was multitasking ) when suddenly a wild BSOD appeared! When I restarted my laptop, everything went smoothly again, and after a few hours, the BSOD reappeared (I'm only playing and browsing the net this time). And when I restarted my laptop, whenever I open Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and VLC Media player, the BSOD appears. I tried many things like:

• reinstalling the said programs
• running a diagnostic test on my hardwares
• scanning my laptop with antivirus
• Lastly, make it rest for the night

There were no viruses detected. No hardware problems (I thought it was a HDD or Memory problem). Reinstalling didn't help. Please help me! I don't know if there was a thread already for this.

Added info: I haven't installed any hardware or even updated anything for at least a week. And I haven't tried if the BSOD appears when opening other programs (it's a pain to restart every BSOD appearance -_-). My laptop's running slowly afterwards and I'm running on safe mode.

I updated my drivers and it went well. A question though, why doesn't it update in my windows update? I'm pretty sure I enabled it. Thanks a lot! This thread is solved!

I am not very sure that why the display driver is not updated via windows update. But it is a fact that it should have been.
