Hi
iv been having this strange problem for the past couple of hours
i upgraded my pc
(increased ram capacity from 4 to 8gb )
(installed a new cpu fan )

the cpu in question is an AMD Phenom 2 x6 1090 T

i was using the stock fan , and had some temperature issues
so i turned off core No.5 ,No,6 to decrease temp .... and it went well
games use to run fine using 4 cores on 4 gb ram

after upgrading (and enabling all 6 cores on regular 3200 mhz ), i had no issues in normal operations (downloading , watching hd videos , browsing ,etc )

but i get a BSOD when i play any game "only when actual game starts and cpu usage increases)
list of games i tried running so far :-
Battlefield 3
Need for speed the run
Dota 2

Note that cpu temp on the time of the crash wasn't an issue
it was 40 Celsius or something like that at the time

so i traced back my steps and realized that running these games while adjusting core affinity to only the first 4 cores (or turning the last 2 cores off from bios )
solves the problem ...

after my pc crashed a couple of times i tried to run the "Intel Burn test v 2.54"
i get a BSOD 3-5 seconds after starting the rest .

so does that mean that my cpu is damaged ?
or is there any way to fix this problem ?

iv attached all the necessary files when reporting a BSOD in a zip file
hope i get a response soon , thx in advance

You need to follow http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...top-0x124-what-means-what-try.html#post354696

Though it is hardware related crash, some software has some good bearing on your hardware.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\AMD VISION Engine Control Center
Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\AI Suite
Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\EPU
Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\PC Probe II
Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\ROG GameFirst
Start Menu\Programs\ASUS\TurboV EVO
Start Menu\Programs\DAEMON Tools Lite
Start Menu\Programs\MagicDisc
I's suggest you to uninstall those.

Make sure that you Display, Sound, Network, Mouse etc drivers are up to date.

Let us know the results.
