Hi guys, I hope you can help with my problem. In the last 5-6 days I've been experiencing BSOD's and random reboots mainly when i'm playing games.

In my event log I have an entry whoch is as follows:
The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot\UMB\2&37c186b&0&STORAGE#VOLUME#_??_USBSTOR#DISK&VEN_GENERIC-&PROD_COMPACT_FLASH&REV_1.00#20060413092100000&0#.

I'm not sure if this is the cause but I found an article that it maybe to the card reader I have installed in my PC (i'm no expert so i'm probably wrong).

I just don't know how to stop it and really need some assistance. I have attached my SF logs as per the sticky

Hello Scizor1985.

I hate any obstacles during final fantasy. And, FF7 is the best.

Update the following drivers.

Also, if possible, try to update the BIOS.
Code:
BIOS Version/Date Alienware A11, [COLOR=Red]10/11/2010[/COLOR]
Let us know the results.

BTW, the zip does not contain any crash dump, and the event log also does not indicating to a BSOD.
Still follow it: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html
Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Hi Arc, I have updated my graphics card and my wireless card as requested, so far I haven't had any BSOD. Its early days but its looking promising.

And the message that kept appearing in my event log seems to have stopped. Ill be attempting a bios update tonight just to be sure.

I've also setup the minidump just in case it does come back!

Thanks for your assistance and I hope I wont have to take up any more of your time!

ps. FF6 is by far the best final fantasy!!
