Solved BSOD when playing games, and when computer is put to sleep mode

Hi,
I got this computer newly at about April 10,
I got the store guys to install windows 7 for me, and I started getting BSOD recently.
It usually happens when I playing games or when I put the computer to sleep mode, it restarts itself and gives an error.
Also my default play back devices keeps disconnecting and reconnecting if that helps? As in, when im on Skype I switch to Corsair Vengeance 1500 Headset as default device, and it keeps switching this on and off. This headset never gave me any problems on my other pc in the past

Hello and welcome hasnaen now have you updated all the drivers for this machine which I am assuming was intended for Windows 8? and you wanted 7. If no then I think you might start with the chipset driver but I am not sure of the exact model of the motherboard so can you send exact details of that.

Having said that I have searched as close a s I can male it out and the drivers might be here GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0)

thank you for the response ICIT2LOL, when I got the machine built for me, I had asked the guys at the store to install windows 7 as I had a spare windows 7 key at home, I did not intend for windows 8 drivers to be installed, is that what has happened in my case??

Should I install all the drivers on that link you have mentioned? Also would I have to delete what I have currently?



Okay so I have installed all those drivers. I hope that fixes it all, is there anything else I should be doing?

No mate I thought perhaps it was prefabricated build and as for the board well I am pretty sure it was not designed or intended for Windows 8 - I only asked because I bought an Asus gamer that was made with and for 8 and I had 7 installed on it as an option and had to update the BIOS before I could install 7 drivers (long long story).

Look as for the drivers well most of the ones that one tries usually it will tell you if the driver is up to date or is a newer version of it but I only quoted on a guess as to what board it was if you want to check any components in the machine use this ditty of mine but you only need PART B: to find the motherboard specs for example. PART A: is handy for checking out volts on the PSU

Using HW Info
PART A:
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download < download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts are doing see my pic. In my pic the section (Nuvoton) with VBATT is a dead give away you are in the section for the rail voltages. There are other section titles and one that pops up often is ITE
Now the voltage on the different rails have to be within 5% =+/- of what is required or the machine will not work properly if at all.

The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel
FOR OTHER COMPONENTS
PART B:
Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in and then click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. See pic for example.
