BSOD when playing games

Whenever im playing games my PC will eventually blue screen, altough it can take hours before it actually happens. Never happend when not playing games.

Tried it with different ram and in all possible slots, didnt change anything. Graphicscard worked fine in a different PC and I tried multiple driver versions. No overheating issues either, HDD is working fine as well.

System:
Athlon 64 X2 6000+
M2N SLI Deluxe
9800 GT
PSU is a LC 550 V2.2 with:
+3.3v +5v +12V1 +12V2 -12V +5Vsb
22A _ 21A _ 15A _ 10A _ 0.5A _ 2.5A
(Im guessing thats not the issue but I could try it with a better one if I had to)

Then i tried the driver verifier and I get blue sceens as soon as I boot (but after the Startup Repair/Safe Mode selection stuff).

Might be unrelated, but the PC wouldnt boot with 4 1GB sticks installed, its working fine with 3 though. Tried it with lowered frequency, didnt change anything. Was going to try it with slightly bumped up voltage but the BIOS doesnt seem to have that option oO

Edit: Not sure if i tired the other PCI-E slot yet (most of this happend 1.5 years ago and I didnt need the PC in the meantime), so im doing that now just in case.
Edit2: Nope, still happening. Now it just frooze completely instead of going to a blue sceen though, which is a first iirc.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

• Double click to open it.
• Click this button only:
• 
• If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Now disable driver verifier. Let us know how it works.

If the BSOD problem continues to occur, next time you upload not only the crash dumps, but also upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

Happend again but now not when booting but after 1-2h of playing as it usually does.

Im not really an expert but isnt it kinda likely that its just a broken mobo?

3 GB of RAM is not enough for running a 64 bit system. For it, you need at least 4 GB. Moreover, 3 GB is an odd dimension .... download CPU-z. Ren it, and take screenshots of memory tab and SPD tab, slotwise. Upload the screenshots.

Driver Verifier is still enabled.

No need to run it now, but it is problematic. It causes BSODs at its own. Disable it now.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.

Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Edit: Like I said, already tested the ram (tried memtest, tried different ram, tried all the slots one by one).

A search revealed that you are using nForce as the chipset driver, and that includes nvstor.sys as the storage controller driver. You need to try to update nForce, as it contains not only the storage controller, but also network controller and a lot of other vital drivers.

Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers, search for nForce, as per your motherboard's chipset specifications.

Also, the BIOS is extremely old.
