Hello everyone,

I have been facing this BSOD ever since I built my computer. It used to occur once a week. Now it occurs more than once per week. I noticed that it always happen when I am doing something "heavy" while downloading something on Steam or uTorrent. By "heavy" I mean playing video games or browsing Chrome with multiple tabs and watching YouTube.

The following BSOD information were obtained from BlueScreenView

  • Reinstalled windows
  • Ran a hard drive check and a "MemTest". No issues
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled my wireless adapter driver

My system specs are all available in my profile.

Based on your posting instructions, I have attached the file to this post. I have also attached more information from BlueScreenView.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

It is ENCORE ENUWI-2XN4x Wireless USB Adapter (RTL8192CU) that is causing the BSOD.
Code:

Thank you for your kind reply.

I honestly thought I updated it already. Looks like the one I installed from ENCORE website is outdated.

I have applied what you suggested. I will give this a week or two to see if the problem is permanently solved. I will mark this thread as solved during that time.

Thank you very much for your help.
