BSOD when running uTorrent

New PC, it happens whenever I'm downloading something on uTorrent.

Just added my system specs, but I imagine I'm missing a lot here, what else do I need to include?

Do you get blue screens only while torrent or otherwise too?

Thanks for the welcome.

It only happens when torrenting, somewhere around maybe 15 minutes of utorrent running. If utorrent is running but I have no active torrents then it's fine.

Uninstall Avira antivirus : Avira AntiVir Removal Tool - Download
Replace with Free MSE : Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

Make scans with the following:

-Kaspersky TDSSKiller

• Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

-ESET online scanner

• Free Online Virus Scanner | ESET

Go to this link : Intel® Driver Update Utility run Java and download and install all latest drivers

Check for updates on your network drivers

Let us know the results

McAfee is a frequent cause of BSOD crashes, consider uninstalling it with the McAfee Removal Tool and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.

Update all your network drivers, Intel® Customer Support

Reset your connection, reinstall the torrent software.

For reinstalling drivers you can use this method:

Click on the Start rb: ► Control Panel ► Programs ► Uninstall a program ► Uninstall everything related to your network drivers (All if possible)

Delete remnants of its drivers/older drivers using Driver Fusion/Sweeper

It looks like getting rid of whatever was left of McAfee did it, thanks a lot for the help!

Originally I just uninstalled it regularly before installing Avira.

Since that appeared to be the problem, do you think it will be fine to uninstall MSE and reinstall Avira?

I use MSE so I'd recommend it. But if you have issues with Avira in the future switch to MSE.

PS: is it bad to run multiple antivirus programs?
