Hello,

My friend had a lot of problems with minecraft lately and he litterly tried almost everything, but nothing helped. So I decided to make a account here. So, his problem:

When he starts minecraft he immediately gets a bluescreen. He can run any other game ( LoL, Battefield 3 ) perfectly fine. He has updated all his drivers and stuff so we have no idea what the problem is...

Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate, 32bit ( retail and installed 2 months ago )
Hardware is around 1 year old.
AMD Phenom II X4 955
ATI Radeon 58xx HD
4gb ram

I will add the dump files tommorow because I don't have acces to his computer atm

Thanks in advance

All crashes appear to be caused by the G-Data antivirus software. Remove it with the G-Data AVCleaner and replace it with either of these:
G-Data may not be the actual cause and may just be masking the true culprit. If so, doing the above will at least help track it down. If G-Data was not the cause, it may be re-installed later.

3rd Party Drivers that are Out of Date:
Code:
ASACPI.sys Thu Aug 12 20:52:52 2004 (411C2D04)
Rt86win7.sys Thu Feb 26 02:04:22 2009 (49A65B16)

ASACPI.sys:
Older versions of ASACPI.SYS are a known BSOD problem on Windows 7. Update the driver by:
  1. Going to the Asus motherboard support site
    When you reach the website:
  2. Scroll down the page and click Utilities
  3. Hold Ctrl and press f (ctrl+f) to enter the browser's find feature
  4. Search for "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Win7 32&64-bit" (without quotes)
  5. Download and install the driver.
  6. After installation is complete, verify that it installed correctly.
    • Click Start Menu
    • Click My Computer
    • Go to C:\WIndows\System32\drivers\
    • Verify that the ASACPI.SYS file is dated 2009 or newer (2010,etc.)

Rt86win7.sys:
The Realtek Ethernet driver should be updated from the motherboard support site. If you need help, please fill in your system specs in your profile and not in a post in this thread: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html
