Hey i am going to post some .dmp files that I am getting. I seem to get a BSOD whenever the computer is under a load ex: playing online games or d/l torrents. For some reason the last .dmp file that I have is from 2/1/2012 but I got a BSOD 2 times in the last hour. I have done memory tests in the bios and windows and it said that they are fine. My laptop is a hp pavillion dv7-1448dx I am running a amd turion x2 w/ 4gig memory I will post the last 2 .dmp files. Can someone please let me know whats going on I think that my MOBO is going bad and I hope thats not the case.

Thanks,

BSOD under a load diag

Ok, I ran the Mem 86+ thing 6 times no errors. I ran the pc health .html and included it with the jgriff2 folder in a .zip file. I have not ran prime 95 yet though. I got 3 BSOD's while running the jgriff program 3 times but finally managed to get it to run all the way through this last time. any other questions please let me know. I appreciate the help!

Thanks!

Just ran the crashes from 2012. You've got a couple different things going on here

One crash was caused by BitDefender. Please uninstall and replace with MSE

How to uninstall BitDefender
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Code:
sptd.sys Sun Oct 11 16:55:14 2009 (4AD24632)
Please remove Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120%. The driver associated with these programs (SPTD) is known to cause BSOD. Please run the SPTD removal tool to make sure it is completely gone - DuplexSecure

Code:
Symptom:	Device is not present, not working properly, or does not have all of its drivers installed.
Cause:	A device has a configuration problem that prevents it from working properly.
Details:	The device, Symantec Network Security Intermediate Filter Driver, is reporting "tv_ConfigMgrErr24". This device will not be available until the issue is resolved. The Plug and Play ID for this device is ROOT\LEGACY_SYMIM\0000.
Resolution:	1. Verify the correct driver is installed.
2. Try updating the drivers using Windows Update.
3. Check with the manufacturer for an updated driver.
4. Attempt to uninstall and then reinstall the device using Device Manager.
Did you previously have Norton installed on your system? Or do you have it now? If you had it installed previously and no longer do then run a norton removal tool to make sure everything is gone.
http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN

If you currently use it then reinstall the program

Code:
athrx.sys Thu Oct 08 22:40:55 2009 (4ACEA2B7)
Update your Atheros driver - Drivers for Atheros AR5007 and Windows 7

Code:
jmcr.sys Thu Jul 17 08:23:53 2008 (487F39D9)
Update your Jmicron card reader - ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/CardReader/Windows/JMB38X_WinDrv_R1.00.67_WHQL.zip

This error appears a lot in your event logs. Not sure if it has to do with some setting in your BIOS (like a energy saver). You have the latest BIOS so there is nothing for you to update.

Ok, so I did every diagnostic that you said to. My atheros and jmicron or whatever were already updated to the newest version. I left daemon tools b/c that was an old code from a previous version and I remember why it crashed before it was my fault. I no longer have norton or bitdefender so I ran the uninstallers to totally clean up the left overs. So far no blue screen. I think that it might have been the bitdefender. I recently deleted it and my blue screens started after that I believe. I will see if the problem returns and if it does i will post back. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
