Hi Guest14.

The BSODs are blaming Komplete Audio 6 by Native Instruments (c:\windows\system32\drivers\ka6usb.sys).

Search for any possible update to it in NATIVE INSTRUMENTS : Support : Updates : Drivers & Other Files

You may also ask for tech support from Native: Contact Support | Support

You are welcome. :)

Now give it a time. Put the computer to sleep for a couple of times and wake it up. Observe if it is still BSODing or not. Let us know if needed.

Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility. At least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Intel(R) 9 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller is also failing.

Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

  1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
  2. It will open the "computer management" window.
  3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
  4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
  6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
  7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.
When the above two are done, then and only then go to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx .... take the Intel® Driver Update Utility and search for any possible update to the USB3 driver, as it is the prima facie cause of the BSOD.

I'm a little bit lost at steps 4 and 5, I don't see any Intel device under it. Would you suggest later installing latest rapid storage again or not?

No, no more installation of rapid storage. That will make it unstable again.

If there is a confusion, let us see the situation. Upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

  1. Click on the start button
  2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
  3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
  4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
  5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.
This file will tell us what to do next.

Well yesterday after uninstalling rapid storage only from control panel the windows didn't want to start and I had to use startup reapair. Anyway here is the zip file that you've requested.

IRST is set as AHCI there, so uninstalling it should not have any bearing on the startup. We have uninstalled IRSD successfully a good number of times when it uses the same settings.

Try to uninstall it again.

I've uninstalled it again from control panel and now it started up normally. In a previous post you mentioned that I should also remove IRST driver but I don't know where I can do that in device manager
