Hi Guys.

I have a fresh image of Windows 7 on my laptop but it will crash frequently when connect to a VPN.

I have only tested this over WIFI and have yet to test over a wired connection.

I have attached the correct file but I think some files may be missing as I can't seem to get the Diagnostics Tool to do a full run through.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi BinaryStar0647.

Your BSODs are caused by Sunbelt Personal Firewall driver, a regular BSOD causer which is disconnected from the market from December 2011.

Seeing your files I realized that the drivers are used by some other thing, GFI Software Firewall.

ITEM|VALUE
Name | [00000016] GFI Software Firewall NDIS IM Filter Miniport
Adapter Type | Ethernet 802.3
Product Type | GFI Software Firewall NDIS IM Filter Miniport
PNP Device ID | ROOT\SB_SBFWIMCLMP\0000
Driver | c:\windows\system32\drivers\sbfwim.sys (5.2.51.0, 117.78 KB (120,608 bytes), 15/08/2013 10:37 AM)

And it is the driver that is failing here.
Code:
fffff880`0358c670 fffff880`00df2110Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\SBFWIM.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for SBFWIM.sys
[COLOR=Red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for SBFWIM.sys[/COLOR]
 SBFWIM+0x1a110
And not alone, but with other components too.
Code:
fffff880`0358c408 fffff880`046aadd3Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\SbFw.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for SbFw.sys
[COLOR=Red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for SbFw.sys[/COLOR]
 SbFw+0x11dd3
I would suggest you to uninstall GFI Software Firewall.

Let us know the results.

Yep GFI is our Anti Virus we use at work called Vipre.

I had a look through the Vipre config list and noticed my laptop had a desktop configuration, I switched this to notebook and it seems to be working!

I will have to test this later on for a longer period of time but thank you!
