Hello

I have recently had a problem with getting BSOD while accessing some websites that contain videos, like Youtube and Flightsim sites. The windows Error splash window tells me that there is a .dmp file and .xml file that can help with the problem but I'm not sure what to do next. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks

Andrew

Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed.

Attempt to roll back your driver to previous version that worked.

Is the computer hot at all? Download and run:

Post back a screenshot of your temps after 2 hours use.
Also Inspect your computer and if needed clean fans / air vents, to ensure good air flow.
Please follow this guide carefully:

Also please ensure you have all the latest Windows updates installed.

Also I noticed a very old outdated driver, either update or uninstall device driver if no longer used:

Hi Dave

Thanks for the quick response. I've attached a png file showing the CPU, motherboard & SSD temps and they seem quite normal to me, what do you think? I have also rolled back the NVIDIA driver to the previous one to see if that helps. I have updated those drives for my pro-flight yoke and rudder pedals that I use in Flightsim.

Regards

Andrew

Hi

The Speccy app doesn't give a temp for graphics. See GPU2. I've used another GPU temp app to get that info, see GPU temp. I am currently running FSX on the PC so the GPU is loaded.

Dave

Thanks for your help. Since rolling back my driver it hasn't happened again...yet. I will keep it under review , but thanks anyway.
