BSOD while gaming and watching stream

Hello i just got a BSOD while i was playing Hearthstone and watching some streams from twitch.tv. Right after i got the BSOD and i tried to restart pc it wasnt starting , the MSI motherboard wallpaper didnt appear on screen but it got in DOS (never happened before) and all the devices were loading, but it wasnt starting. After 2 restarts it started normally. I also got this problem on my pc .

Using HW Info

You can test the volts on the PSU with HWInfo HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 -Download < download the right bit version andclose the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power sectionwhere you will see what the volts are doing see my pic.

The original right hand window shows themachine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use themain left hand side panel

FOR OTHER COMPONENTS

Open each + down into the componentitself and then click on it - in theright hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds andother essential info that device. See pic for example.


It will show up the volts in the redout and if they are off by +/- 5% then the PSU is probably dying . If you dont get any readouts that make sense try this.

Yep well the volts check out ok and I would be inclined to do the simple stuff first

ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans

Then we can look at reseating all cards cables and RAM sticks and looking to see if there is much crud inside the case.

It might be an idea to back up your data now as it could possibly be the hard drive failing - it is five years old after all. Once the back stuff is done we can do some drive testing.

As an afterthought just what are the temps on the machine? Core Temp is good for that

I just did every scan no problems found on disk, some cookies spywares but nothing important. Also the case is clean, i clear it twice a month.

Ok my friend time to yest out the RAM I think use this

MEMTEST

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.htmlthis one you will need to make a bootable disk set the BIOSto optical (or USB if preferred) boot the machine and let it run for at LEAST 8 passes unless the errors come up straight away. Takes a fair time to completeand some leave it running overnight.

If you do get errors and have morethan one stick then you will need to test each one separately and maybe even inthe separate slots.

In the meantime I am going to look for the driver for the graphics.
