BSOD while gaming and web browsing

Not sure what's going on but I'm having problems even trying to get the hard drive diagnostic running.
I have a Hitachi hard drive, downloaded the Hitachi DFT .iso, and burned it to a blank CD. I booted from my CD and everything is fine until I reach the terms and conditions page. Once I reach the page, I can't press anything to accept the terms and as such, can't do anything to start the test.

The page says to press F1 for help, but that doesn't work. It says to press Alt+X to exit, that doesn't work. I thought it was a problem with a bad CD burn, so I tried to burn the .iso again, but to a different CD. Same thing happened. The CDs I'm burning aren't re-writable if that's worth saying. Would it be better if I used the software version of the hard drive diagnostic instead of the bootable version?

Edit: In fact, once I reach the conditions page, my entire keyboard locks up. When I tried pressing caps lock and numlock, nothing actually happens.

Try downloading again its not uncommon for error in iso download, it happens, if not try SeaTools | Seagate this works on all drives

I've ran the software version of SeaTools before on this hard drive before, when I started getting crashes and did all the tests and things came out okay. I'll try to get the .iso working though, since I think a bootable hard drive diagnostic would be more accurate than a software one.

In the meantime however, I've ran Prime95 Small FFT for 2 & 1/2 hours without any crashes. In RealTemp, the hottest core only got to 45c.

Sea tools is bootable too same process as other think there are two versions, win .exe style and bootable iso for burning

Changing keyboards from my USB one to a PS/2 keyboard restore keyboard functionality in Hitachi DFT. However, now I'm having problems in that DFT isn't detecting my hard drive; the list is empty when DFT lists all devices.

Finished 1 hour & 8 minutes of FurMark. No visual artifacts and my GPU leveled out at 72c/73c. Will try getting the SeaGate diagnostic working since Hitachi DFT doesn't want to play nice right now.

Okay, I tried to use SeaTools DOS. Same thing happened, it reported that it didn't detect any drives. I checked to make sure my SATA power and data cables were properly seated. That checked out fine. Still no luck with getting the diagnostic to detect my drive. I then tried changing which SATA port my SATA cable was plugged into on my motherboard.

My motherboard has SATA ports 1-8.
1-2 = 6Gb/s powered by Intel Z77
3-6 = 3Gb/s powered by Intel Z77
7-8 = 6Gb/s powered by Asmedia ASM1061

My hard drive was initially plugged into SATA 2 (Intel 6Gb/s) and wasn't being detected.
I then plugged it into SATA 6 (Intel 3Gb/s) and it wasn't being detected.
Finally, I plugged it into SATA 7 (Asmedia 6Gb/s) and SeaTools finally detected my drive. Now, I'm in the process of doing a long test on the drive.

Finished a Long Test in SeaTools and it came out as a pass. With the hardware tests now done, where should I go from here?

I'm thinking of either trying to run driver verifier or re-enabling my GFX overclock. Still unsure what to do. I've had my system with everything default going about business as usual, gaming and web browsing,e.t.c. for a while now without any system crashes.

Its up to you mate, you need to be satisfied you have regained a stable system then if you make changes and crashes reoccur then you know what to attribute those crashes too, if you do have any driver problems then driver verifier may help to bring them out but if system is working its up to you

Okay, I'm going to install MSI Afterburner and set up a GFX card overclock. Will report back if any issues arise.
