Hi pgw chaos and welcome to Sevenforums! :)

I looked up your error and I need to ask if you are overclocking, if you are then you need to stop, if not then you need to check your CPU cooler as it might be insufficient. For example you need to check the processor seating, heat sink, and the compound between the processor and the heat sink which are common causes.

Also you might want to upgrade the case fans if you have an issue with heat build-up within the case.

Cheerio and hopefully this will put you and your system on the right track!

/Boris :)

Thanks for the reply and welcome. :)

I am not overclocking, and think I don't have any heat issues (my case have 2x 200mm fans and a 1x120mm fan), and has my BIOS set up to warn me about my CPU heat

I have no issue while I was playing graphic heavy games (which should generate the most amount of heat), it only happened when the system is idle for some time (around 20mins).I will try to pay more attention to the heat of the CPU.

I did research people having similar issues, and found that the GIGABYTE APP Center might be causing it. (I uninstalled it, and waiting to see if that fixed it)

I haven't had a BSOD in two weeks after removing the GIGABYTE APP software. So I marked this as solved.
